Lamar Jackson’s Passes Have More Zip; 10 Observations From Day 1 of Ravens Minicamp

Ravens minicamp kicked off Tuesday on the Under Armour Performance and all eyes have been on Lamar Jackson.

Jackson returned to the Under Armour Performance Center for the primary time since final season ended with him injured and the Ravens exterior the playoffs. After sitting out organized group actions, Jackson jumped into apply main the offense as typical.

Teammates and coaches have been glad to have him again, saying Jackson added a jolt to apply.

What caught out about Jackson is that he appears to be throwing the ball with extra zip. By the bare eye, it seems Jackson has added some muscle this offseason. That, mixed with continued work on his mechanics, might clarify why he appears to have added some velocity. Jackson drilled a number of passes into tight protection and appears easy throwing the ball to all areas of the sphere.
Head Coach John Harbaugh stated Jackson seemed good and “he’s physically in very good shape. I thought his arm looked really good. You can see he’s been throwing a lot.” Tight finish Mark Andrews stated he seen a distinction too. (*1*)
