The Baltimore Ravens have been arduous at work throughout 2022 coaching camp. They kicked off practices final week, and have been getting in high quality reps as they appear to bounce again from a disappointing finish to their 2021 marketing campaign.
After one of many first coaching camp practices of the yr, quarterback Lamar Jackson spoke to the media about many various subjects. One of the issues he mentioned was his leadership style, and talked about how he’s going to attempt to have interaction extra, one thing he stated he wasn’t actually doing in earlier years.
“A little bit. You guys are going to see me trying to engage more. Like, I [try] to. After I mess up or a guy messes up [or] we’re not on the same page, I try to engage more with them. I wasn’t really doing that in previous years.”
Jackson has grown annually as a frontrunner of his workforce, each on and off of the sphere. He’s earned the belief and respect of his teammates and coaches, and coming into his fifth NFL season he’s decided to continue to grow in that facet, which in and of itself is a high quality of a frontrunner.
